minor issues during stay
untrained staffmediocre dinner
The staff seemed undertrained. No one offered me a glass for my drink, even though i ordered prosecco. i had to request mugs to use the tea and coffee facilities. the tv in the dining area was too loud during my dinner. it distracted from what i felt was a very mediocre meal, especially considering the price.

Excellent Stay Near the Racecourse

I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating to all guests. The hotel has ample indoor and outdoor space. There is a nice patio area available when the weather is good (I particularly enjoyed sitting there in the sun).
The exercise room could use some updates.

The room was modern and clean (i was really pleased). breakfast offered a good selection. I especially enjoyed the bacon. it tasted amazing and was lovely and hot.

I appreciated the spacious common areas that featured open views of the racecourse. Breakfast provided many options and the room was both super clean and cozy. Free parking on the premises added convenience to my stay. Checkout was available up to 12:00, a definite plus.
The lamp was slightly damaged. it did not impact my overall experience.
